Young Fives

NEW for the 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR: Young Fives Program at Cedar Crest! This program offers the gift of time to students turning 5 years old, June-December, 2021. Young Fives students enjoy a comprehensive curriculum rich in humanities (world languages, art, music and physical education) while developing academic skills and social-emotional maturity for kindergarten success. The mission of Young Fives is to instill a love of learning in young students while allowing them to develop at their own pace as they prepare for the kindergarten transition.

Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center and Cedar Crest Early Learning Center are located on the campus of Cedar Crest Academy, a private, independent K-8 school. Our young students benefit greatly from our collaborative relationship with CCA through access to campus amenities as well as specialized ancillary instruction in world language, music, art, and physical education. Cedar Crest’s uniquely comprehensive Preschool, K Prep, and Young Fives programs provide meaningful learning opportunities to promote the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of young children.

Young Fives at Cedar Crest is a full day, full week program. Students attend school Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. This program is limited to 12 full time spots only for the 2021-2022 school year. Registration is now open.

This program will require a minimum number of registered students (TBD) to run during the 2021-2022 school year.

Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center is located in Clarkston, Michigan. Our early childhood programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC®).
