Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center is excited to bring this unique world language learning opportunity to Clarkston. Preschool and Kindergarten Prep students have the opportunity to participate in a fully immersed multicultural environment led by native speaking teachers. The benefits of bilingual education are numerous. Early exposure to foreign language improves the brain’s executive function. Research shows that bilingual children score higher on verbal standardized tests and perform better in math and logic skills than monolingual children. Early childhood Spanish immersion provides a foundation for success in a globalized world by teaching new languages and cultures while fostering art, music, emergent reading, writing, math, science, movement and social skills.

Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center is located in Clarkston, Michigan. Our early childhood programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC®). NAEYC® accredited centers adhere to standards and practices that exceed licensing standards. NAEYC® standards reflect best practices in early childhood education programs that are supported by research and ongoing evaluation of programs.
