A minimum participation of two mornings per week is recommended for this program. Childcare is available before and after class, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center is located on the campus of Cedar Crest Academy, a private, independent K-8 school in Clarkston, Michigan. Our young students benefit greatly from our collaborative relationship with CCA through access to campus amenities as well ancillary specialized instruction in world language, music, art, and physical education. Cedar Crest’s uniquely comprehensive Preschool, K Prep, and Young Fives programs are rich in meaningful learning opportunities to promote the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of young children.
Our early childhood programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC®). NAEYC® accredited centers adhere to standards and practices that exceed licensing standards. NAEYC® standards reflect best practices in early childhood education programs that are supported by research and ongoing evaluation of programs.
