Cedar Crest Academy

Campus Tour

DSC_0222Cedar Crest Academy is located on 15 acres of coniferous forest and borders the Clinton River Watershed via Bridge Lake in North Oakland County. Preservation of wetlands and natural resources is an integral part of the philosophy. The classroom building and early childhood center are passive solar buildings with future energy conservation always in our strategic plan. The gymnasium, art and music building is a contemporary structure to enhance creativity of movement, and the arts. The administrative hub of our campus is a traditional fieldstone building that has occupied this property for more than 60 years.

Salient features of our environment are clean and safe. This is due to the accountability of our students and staff working cooperatively. Frequent exchange of micro-fiber filters, for heating and air conditioning, support our health and thus improve our daily attendance. Faculty and staff members can identify every student and family connection. Environmental causes and service are frequent outcomes of Cedar Crest curriculum and ethics.
